| Abstract: | Metaphor and the context of situation are the popular topics of cognition.The relationship between metaphor,context of situation and words teaching in reading from a cognitive perspective is analyzed,and the usage of them in reading teaching is discussed.It has a directive function in words teaching and promotes students' deeper understanding of words. |
