| Abstract: | Taking the specific social and cultural context of Hong Kong as its starting point, this thesis is an analysis of the peculiar personal ity and psychology of Huang Biyun, a Hong Kong-based woman writer. It manages to offer a new interpretation for the hideous images and the accompanying sense of detachedness and sickness depicted in Huang's works. |
