| 摘 要： | 现代中国地理学史研究始于王庸于20世纪30年代撰写的《中国地理学史》,此后,侯仁之于60年代主编了《中国古代地理学简史》,中国科学院自然科学史研究所地学史组于80年代编写了《中国古代地理学史》,其间虽然还有其他相关书籍问世,但上述三部风格迥异的地理学史著作更具典型性,从中可以看到在对中国古代地理学的反思建构中,西方现代地理学观念的影响。重视自然地理,重视古代地理知识的科学性,是这些地理学史研究的重要倾向。而具有这种倾向的诠释,却偏离了中国古代地理学体系的某些主要特征。由此我们也可以反思"反向格义"问题在中国地理学史研究中的特殊的存在形式。当我们对这一问题有所自觉时,更应该意识到中国古代地理学,作为一套成熟的学术体系,乃是以王朝社会的发展为基础和主要关照对象的。
