To Study the Essential Reason for the U.S. Compelling RMB Appreciation from the Political Economy Perspective

After China' s WTO accession, the issue of imbalance in Sino-U.S. bilateral trade has become more and more serious so all circles in the United States blame that RMB exchange rate system leads to the imbalance and consider Chinese government manipulates China's currency. Then they ask the U.S. government to urge China to take actions to rectify RMB exchange rate system to achieve a large RMB appreciation immediately. However, it is ridiculous that various myths about RMB exchange rate and imbalance in Sino-U.S. trade with the political economic approach. The reason why the U.S. Congressmen compel continu- ously RMB to appreciate is to stick up for the U.S. authority status in the world economy by this way.
