摘    要:很长一段时期来,强调表意与流利还是强调结构与准确是外语教学中不断引起争论的一个问题。在教学现实中反映出来的总是顾此而失彼,不得两全。因此形成了“轻形重义”和“轻义重形”两种现象。而在语言学习中,只要坚持实践和探索形式与意义的内在关系,二者兼顾是完全可行的。

Abstract:One of the controversial areas in language teaching has long been whether classroom teaching should focus on meaning and fluency, or on form and accuracy. It has been argued that an ideal way is to combine meaning and form. However, this turned out to be not easy, and evidence is lacking as to how such a dual focus can be achieved in practice. This article examines the relation between meaning and form in language learning as well as the reasons why sometimes form is focused and sometimes meaning is focused in order to find out the interface for combining meaning and form. The paper ends with some demonstrations of this effort.
