汉籍外译对民族典籍英译之借鉴

在中国翻译史上,汉籍外译因其翻译的语境化、文化个性的保持和明确的目标读者而衍生出相应的翻译模式和策略。文章梳理这些模式与策略,并从符合时代特征的译作选择、与时代语境相适应的翻译策略、原作民族基本价值的传递、以读者为指归的调控等几个方面,考察了汉籍外译模式和策略对于我国民族典籍英译的借鉴作用。

Reference of Sinology Classics Translation for Ethnic Documents Translation

In the history of Chinese translation, corresponding translation modes and strategies of sinology classics translation are derived in regards to the translation context, cultural personality and clear target readers of the times. With reference to these feasible patterns and strategies, the paper discusses the appropriate translation modes and strategies of ethnic Classics in the following perspectives： the original works selection, the translation methods, the original ethnic value and the regulation of reader -orientation.
