In modern times,a considerable number of advanced persons had made unremitting efforts on feminism.One of the outstanding women was Tang Qunying who was from Hengshan County.She directly led several movements of appeal for women’s suffrage soon after the establishment of Republic of China.But she ultimately failed.The article generalizes Tangs personality manifested from her words and deeds when appealing for suffrage from the psychological perspective.It also analyzes the social reasons for the formation and development of Tangs personality.Then it demonstrates its dual influences on the movements of appeal for women’s suffrage.
