| 摘 要： | 二十世纪是中国图书馆事业发展的重要阶段,特别是二三十年代,西方图书馆理论被系统介绍、引入甚至移植过来,极大地改变了传统图书馆以搜集、保存文献为主的传统图书馆业态,开始步入现代图书馆的建设和发展。在此过程中,对发展迅猛而类型独特的大学图书馆功能的讨论,既对处理好大学与图书馆的关系,更好发挥大学图书馆的功能有重要意义,也对图书馆事业的整体提升有推动作用,对今天如何办好高质量的大学也有非常大的启示。
