《穆天子传》成书时间研究综述

《穆天子传》一书在中国文学史上占有重要的地位,但长期以来,学术价值尚未能引起足够重视,人们对于一些重大问题尚存在多种不同说法。以成书年代为例,总体说来大致有四种说法:西周说,春秋末战国初说,战国说,汉以后伪作说。但诸家之说都存在着一些问题。对于先秦典籍成书年代的确认,应当从整体上把握,而不是纠缠于个别的字(词),应放在动态的文学发展过程中,而不是模糊年代的阐述,我们也更要注意多学科交叉的综合研究方法,这样我们才可能比前人看得更深刻一些,从而更准确地把握它的成书时间。

Overview of Research on the Finishing Date of "Biography of Emperor Mu"

"Biogra0phy of Emperor Mu"has a considerate significance in history of literature of China,yet its academic value has been ignored for a long time and the opinions on several important issues differ.On the finishing date of the book for example,four versions coexist:(1) Western Chow dynasty,(2) the end of Spring and Autumn Period and the dawn of Warring States Period,(3) Warring States Period,(4) faked in post-Han period.I insist that all these versions are subjected to defects.Confirming the date of pre-Qin dynasty classics requires an all-round view instead of preoccupation on a certain character(word);Explanation of vague dates should be replaced by analysis of dynamic evolution of literature.Also we should pay attention to interdisciplinary methodology which will help us see further than our predecessors and more accurately fix the date.
