汉语中外来词语的规范问题

考察了目前汉语中使用外来词的种种不规范现象 :外文单词的直接借用 ;外文缩写词的滥用 ;中外文词语的重叠使用。在此基础上 ,依据汉语语音特点和汉字特点 ,提出汉语中使用外来词应采用汉译形式 ,把汉语字母词与外文词区分开来 ,以利于提高汉语交际效果

Issues Regarding Standardizing Loanwords in the Chinese Language

This article surveys the current non-standard use of loanwords in the Chinese language. The phenomena include direct use of foreign words, overuse of abbreviations or acronyms from foreign language and simultaneous use of both Chinese words and loanwords. Based on the investigation, the paper points out that loanwords in Chinese should take the translated Chinese form according to the phonetic and orthographic characteristics of the Chinese language. It is suggested that certain alphabetized Chinese words should be distinguished from pure foreign words so as to improve communication effect in Chinese.
