| Abstract: | Based on Componential Analysis and the theory of lexicalization patterns,this paper investigates the similarities and differences of the ＂laugh＂ type verbs in English and Chinese.Combined with the findings and translation examples,it also explores the C-E translation of the ＂laugh＂ type verbs. |
