| Abstract: | This paper aims to provide a brief review on Xu Beihong's artistic works,his devotion to construct the realistic art and his contribution towards art education.The author will illustrate through examples that Xu Beihong used his paint brushes as weapons to produce a large number of works in Chongqing during the War of Resistance Against Japan and devoted himself to constructing realistic art with the fusion of eastern and western culture. |
