对“汤显祖死于梅毒”之说质疑

梅毒并非明代自外国传入。在明代,传统医学对梅毒的防治取得重大的成果。汤显祖死因是梅毒不足信。不能将汤显祖、屠隆的遗言相似看成他们死因的相同。将“四梦”中的一些色情描写与汤氏死因相联系,令人感到牵强附会。

The Query on the Legend about "Tang Xianzu died of syphilis

The legent about the death of syphilis of Mr. Tang Xianzu and Mr. Tu Long can't be treated as the same, thouh their words left similarly before death. It's inadequate to connect the pornography in the book "Four dreams" with the dying reason of Mr. Tang Xianzu.
