| Abstract: | Based on the analysis of the input hypothesis, reading comprehension processes and language anxiety, this paper advocates that for the purpose of effective learning, it is important that these theories are to be adopted to classroom teaching in China. The author points out that the students' cognitive abilities should be exploited to a great extent to cultivate their ability in language production. |
