解读《毛诗序》

对历史上有关<毛诗序>的观点进行梳理后可以发现,<毛诗序>是一个不可分割的整体,不能强分出大小.各首诗前面的阐释文字,既可以整体指称<毛诗序>,也可以单独指称每篇诗的序;<毛诗序>是在一定历史时期内成于众手,而以孔子、子夏传授为主流,同时兼收后学观点的集体性著作;<毛诗序>的产生与先秦赋诗言志的风气有很大关系,它由孔子加以搜集整理并传授给弟子,而且一直在儒家学派中流传,并进而成为<诗>的正式内容,被后人视为与诗句同样重要的经典.
