论告孟知言方式的差异

摘    要:告孟皆有知言方式以修身知世,告子是“不得于言,勿求于心”,即以“义”制心,以“义”判言,不理他人心;孟子应对之,提出“知言”,即以心知言,知言求心,要求正人心。概言之,两人知言方式的差异焦距于二:(一)“义”“心”是否分离;(二)是否应拨正他人心。

Abstract:Both Gaozi and Mencius have their ways of treatment opinion to cultivate physical body and mind.Gaozi advocated,"If your opinions do not harmonize with others,do not judge by your own idea",while Mencius asserted,"It may not be the case,but we should analyze others' speeches." Gaozi maintained that others' speeches should be measured by justice in external norms,and it was not necessary to correct other people's mentality,while Mencius took the opposite view that others' speeches should be measured by one's mind so as to correct their mentality.
