| Abstract: | During the building of Sun Yat-sen's mausoleum, a lot of negotiations about land requisition were carried on, which reflected the conflicts and mediations between Kuomintang's efforts to renew the nation and the interests of local communities and people. They also microcosmically witnessed the changes of relationship between state and society as well as the central and the local interests during this period. |
