翻译对民族文学走向世界文学的意义——艾·辛格的意第绪语翻译的研究

本文在对犹太裔美国作家艾·辛格的文学作品研究后发现,其所有作品都是由意第绪语翻译至英语,继而获得了诺贝尔文学奖。在与中国文学的对比下得出结论,翻译对于民族文学走向世界文学有着重要的意义和作用,中国文学要在世界文学中占有一席之地必须大力发展翻译事业。

Translation is the Media from National Literature to World Literature——Research into Yaddish translation of Jewish American writer Isaac Bashevis Singer

The paper mainly studies the works of Jewish American writer,Isaac Bashevis Singer,finding that all of them are translated from the Yiddish to English,and then he won the Nobel Prize for Literature.After the comparing it with Chinese literature,it comes to the conclusion that translation plays the significant role in the process through national literature to world literature.It is necessary to promote translation if Chinese literature has become a part of world literature.
