摘    要:英语专业一、二年级泛读课教学普遍存在着由于教材编撰不当 ,教学方法偏于陈旧 ,导致教学效果较差的问题。本文以《英语阅读教程》为例 ,对这些问题进行分析 ,并在教材编撰和教法设计上提出了改革泛读课教学、提高教学效果的几点看法

Abstract:There exists an unsatisfactory teaching effect resulting from improper compilation of coursebooks and outmoded teaching approaches in the Extensive-reading teaching of the first-year and second-year English majors.The paper analyses these problems characterizing An English Reading Course for Comprehension and Speed and puts forward suggestions on comilation of coursebooks and teaching approaches to refrm the teaching of Extensive-reading and improve its teaching effect.
