论20世纪西方通俗文学的审美特征

摘    要:通俗文学长期以来被当作“亚文化”而不受学界的重视,但通俗文学和纯文学却是同源所生,渊远流传。进入20世纪以来,通俗文学更因其通俗易懂的语言、曲折生动的情节、个性鲜明的人物等一系列独特的审美特征满足了读者的阅读期待,迎合了文学市场的消费需求,使通俗文学步入了一个新的市场繁荣期。

Abstract:Popular literature is regarded as "subculture" without paying attention to by the educational circles for a long time,but popular literature and belles-lettres are the same origin.Since entering the 20th century,popular literature satisfied with the expect of readers,catered to the consumption demand of the market of literature,step into the new prosperity period of market because of a series of unique aesthetic characteristics,such as easy-to-understand language,twists and vivid plots,individual character personage,etc.This text tries to make a concrete analysis of the aesthetic characteristic that popular literature owns in this period and offers some reference for realizing correctly the value of popular literature,studying how the literary works gains readers,moves towards the market.
