新世纪:“底层叙事”的流变与省思

作为新世纪十年最醒目的文学现象,底层叙事在它的社会意义和价值立场得到广泛注目与肯定的同时,其对苦难的过分渲染堆积,以及人物性格简单化、故事结构模式化的倾向也一直受到诟病,这无疑成为底层叙事亟需突破的写作瓶颈。在这样的背景下,底层的分层、流动和变异现象受到作家们的重视,成为其书写视域拓展的重要表征。然而从更高的审美追求来看,底层叙事还更多地徘徊或止步于叙述对象与书写形式的变化方面,而并非艺术水准的真正提升。在对底层叙事进行整体性观照的同时,可看到由于消费主义时代大众文化的影响和过于贴近生活的书写现象,使得底层叙事缺乏精神资源的支撑,而这种精神资源须从五四现实主义文学传统、现代批判精神和理想主义情怀中去寻找,使底层写作的叙事空间和审美品格得以拓展与提升。
