Metaphorical interpretation of English and Chinese euphemism

This paper compares and analyzes euphemism in English and Chinese from the perspective of the cognitive linguistics and the specific research object is some euphemism about birth, agedness sickness, and death. And this paper aims to seek the deep reason hidden behind the languages, thus helping language learners to understand the two languages better.
