| Abstract: | Liu Tianhua was a great master of the traditional Chinese music. His approach to literature and art consists of an unthoroughly realistic view of music, and a traditional literator's view of music. The former is embodied in the reflection of reality from part of his works and speeches, while the latter is implied in his occasional impulse to transcend the worldly ideas and in his works in pursuit of the artistic conception and charm. |
