构建社会主义和谐社会,是我们党从中国特色社会主义总体布局出发提出的重大战略任务。建设和谐文化,是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要任务,社会主义核心价值体系是建设和谐文化的根本。以社会主义核心价值体系建设为根本、推进和谐文化建设,要解决三个相互联系的问题:一是为什么建设和谐文化是构建社会主义和谐社会的重要任务;二是为什么社会主义核心价值体系建设是和谐文化的根本;三是怎样以社会主义核心价值体系建设为根本,推进和谐文化建设,即探寻社会主义核心价值体系建设的路径。

Constructing the harmonious socialist society is the major strategic task put forth by the Party which is initiated from the overall layout of socialism with the Chinese characteristics.The construction of harmonious cultures is an important component of constructing the harmonious socialist society,and it is rooted in the construction of the system of the core socialist value.To understand this is to have grasped a strategic supporting point.And thereby,it is necessary to deal well with three aspects closely interrelated: the first is why constructing harmonious culture is the strategic task for constructing the harmonious socialist society;the second why the system of the core socialist value is the base;and the third how to make its construction rooted in enhancing that of harmonious cultures.
