对比分析理论与外语教学

摘    要:对比分析理论是二语习得中的重要理论,旨在对比学习者的母语和目的语之异同,进而预测二语习得中的困难之处.对比分析理论的发展经历了强假设、弱假设和折中假设三个阶段.强假设认为对比分析理论具有预测错误的能力,弱假设认为对比分析理论具有解释错误的能力,而折中假设则强调了人类学习的认知模式和外语学习中最可引起困难的语际错误.外语教学中,对比分析理论可以贯穿课堂教学的各个环节;对比分析理论还可对教材编写以及语言测试提供理论依据.

Abstract:As an important theory in second language acquisition, contrast analysis aims at comparing and contrasting the similarities and differences of the learner's native language and target language to predict the difficulty in second language acquisition. The development of contrastive analysis experienced three stages: the strong version, weak version and compromise version. The strong version puts a premium on its predictability and the weak version emphasizes its interpretation of errors; whereas the compromise version highlights the cognitive pattern of human learning and the interlingua errors which may easily cause difficulties in foreign language acquisition. Contrastive analysis can be used in every teaching procedure in foreign language teaching, providing theoretical basis of compiling teaching materials and language testing as well.
