| 摘 要： | "雷州"之名始于唐贞观八年,在其得名由来之四种说法中,以得名于擎雷水之说最有说服力。"雷阳"为雷州的"郡名",是历史上约定俗成的。它常在古代的诗文和公文中使用,用以指称雷州府或雷州地区。"雷阳"名称来源于"(擎)雷水之阳"。
