称谓的简化与繁化

汉语称谓有两种情况 ,一是官职称谓的简化 ,一是某方言区社会称谓的繁化。前者是随着社会的发展需要而使用经济的言语来表达 ,成为当前社会的一种时尚称谓 ,它简明、经济 ,也符合汉语双音化的发展趋势 ;后者是为了避免社会称谓的尴尬而采用的一种表达方式。汉语称谓虽然细致 ,但是也有难于称谓的域段 ,繁化称谓可以说是一种称谓空白的补偿方式。

The Simplification and Complication of Addressing Forms

This paper discusses the two cases of the Chinese addressing forms: the simplification of official addressing forms and the complication of social addressing forms in certain dialectal areas. The former, along with the development of the society, are expressed in simple words and are becoming fashionable addressing forms in the present-day world. They are concise and economical, and accord with the developing tendency of dissyllable Chinese words. The latter are the expressions used to avoid the embarrassment of social address. Although the addressing forms of Chinese are elaborate, still there are some areas which are difficult to cover.The complication of addressing forms might compensate for the gap.
