| Abstract: | This paper argues that success or failure of verbal communication is directly related to both the addresser and addressee,but actually we always attribute the success or failure of verbal communication to the comprehension of the addresser,ignoring the corresponding responsibility of the addressee.So this paper intends to discuss how the addresser affects verbal communication from the perspective of the dynamic changes of pragmatic presupposition quantity. |
