| 摘 要： | 文章对应用认知语言学的意象图式理论和隐喻理论中英语介词＂in＂的多义现象进行分析。根据＂in＂诸隐喻意义与其核心意义——空间意义的关系远近的不同,把这些隐喻意义分为三个层次。与空间意义最近的隐喻意义是第一层意义,最远的归入了第三层意义。

| Abstract: | This paper analyzed the polysemy of English prepositions ＂ in＂ using image schema theory and metaphor theory.According to the different relations between its metaphorical meanings and the core meaning namely spatial meaning,the metaphorical meanings can be divided into three layers,in which the nearest to the spatial meaning locates on the first layer;the furthest,the third. |
