名书《尔雅》逻辑思想发微

名学是先秦逻辑思想的重点和核心,名书则是名学逻辑理论的实际应用。成书于战国的《尔雅》是我国最早的一部名书。中国逻辑学的研究对象应该扩展到应用逻辑领域。本文以《尔雅》为例,探讨了《尔雅》所体现的名实释义系统和分类归纳方法。可以说,《尔雅》所体现的逻辑思想代表了当时的一流水平。

Viewpoints on the Logical Thoughts in the First Chinese Dictionary: Er Ya

Studying the relationship between names and the corresponding objects is the focus and key point in the pre-Qin period's logical thoughts. Books on such matter are the practical application of that logical theory. Er Ya, the first Chinese dictionary, came into being during the Warring States Reriod (475-221 B.C.). Chinese logic should extend its objects of study to the applicable logical field. In this paper, the author, taking Er Ya as an example, probes into the naming and explaning system and its classfication and induction methods. We can say that the logical thoughts in Er Ya stand for the highest level of that time.
