| 摘 要： | 华裔美国作家任璧莲的小说创作中呈现的文化混杂现象,已经超越了通常意义上的"多元文化主义",构成"文化多元化".后者强调的是个人及文化身份的混杂性及矛盾性,并积极追求动态的、有限度的族裔、文化身份整合,这种情况正好体现在任璧莲小说文本中不同人物的族裔、文化身份认同的流动性上.

| Abstract: | The cultural hybridization embodied in the novels of the Chinese American novelist Gish Jen has surpassed multiculturalism,but rather constitutes cultural pluralization.The latter emphasizes the hybrid and contradictory nature of the individual and cultural identity together with their active pursuit of dynamic and delimited goals of ethnic and cultural identity integration.Such a viewpoint is demonstrated in the fluidity of the varied ethnicities of the characters and cultural identities in these novels. |
