Mach's social philosophy and social practice

Mach was a great philosopher-scientist in the time between the end of 19th century and the beginning of 20th century. His ideas led directly to the scientific revolution and philosophical revolution (logical positivism). On the ground of studies of Mach' s original works and investigation of present backgrounds, this paper expounds comprehensively all aspects of Maeh's social philosophy: his humanism, pacifism, science doctrine, atheism, and his educational thinking. As a philosopher and scientist, Mach had made outstanding achievements in the field of science; meanwhile he showed great concern to social development and human self-perfection. Therefore he was regarded as the carrier and founder of scientific culture and human culture.
