交往行为理论与翻译中的角色定位

传统翻译理论认为,著者、译者和读者之间呈不平等关系,译者处于＂一仆事二主＂的尴尬地位。根据哈贝马斯的交往行为理论,翻译应该是主体间的交往与对话,因而译者与著者和读者之间的关系是平等的。在翻译中应尊重译者的主体性和不同的译本,从而促进交往的达成。

Theory of communicative action and role orientation in translation

Traditionally,the relationship between the writer,the translator and the reader is not equal and the translator has an embarrassed status as a servant.According to Habermas' theory of communicative action,translation is regarded as the communication and dialogue between subjects,so the translator should have the equal status with the writer and the reader.Only when the translator's subjectivity and different translation are respected,should the communication be a successful one.
