| Abstract: | After being founded, Nanjing National Government formulated the village self go vernment system in the form of Shanxi Cunzhi. Although it became deformed and was replaced by Baojia system soon, the village self government system played an important role in history and bequeathed a legacy for villagers' self government in China today. |
