中国留学生研究的历史考察

中国留学生的研究从清末露出端倪,至“五四”之后的20年代逐步向前发展,初步奠定了根基;新中国成立后到“文革”时期则基本停滞,20世纪80年代重新崛起,发展势头强劲;90年代之后持续升温,研究队伍和研究领域都有大的拓展,成果斐然。台湾和香港的研究在20世纪七八十年代比较活跃,国外的研究则主要放在曾留学他们国家的中国留学生上,也取得了一定的成果。

The Historical Survey of the Study on the Chinese Students Abroad

The study on Chinese students abroad began in the lat e Ching Dynasty. After the May 4th Movement of 1919, it developed gradually in the 1920s, which primarily established the framework of this issue. Between the founding of the RPC and the Cultural Revolution, it was almost stagnant. Until well into the 1980s, it revived and grew rapidly. From the 1990s to the presen t, it has increasingly become a hotspot of the relative domain. At the same tim e, the splendid achievements were gained with staffs and fields of the research expanding extensively. In Taiwan and Hong Kong, the study was flourishing in th e 1970s and 1980s. Furthermore, the scholars abroad mainly focused on the Chine se who had ever studied in their countries. In some certain extent, they obtain ed some achievements as well.
