Government Regulation of Personal Income and the Establishment of a Social Security System

In the course of the establishment and development of socialist market economic system, the problem of unfair distribution of personal income is becoming more and more obvious due to limitations of market efficiency. If not properly handled, this problem will lead to social instability. So the government must intervene and implement macro control. This article gives a systematic explanation of the theoretic bases, policy, and positions for the implementation of macro regulation of distribution of personal income by the government. The conclusion is to actively promote the establishment of the social security system in China for the development of society and the well-being of its citizens.
