构建应用翻译理论新常态——基于国家软实力的视角

三十多年的改革开放带来了中国经济的高速增长、人民生活水平的日益提高，国家的“硬实力”不断增强。如今的中国在国际事务中扮演着越来越重要的角色。然而，与“硬实力”相比，我们的“软实力”相对滞后。因此，要实现文化强国和推进中国文化“走出去”的战略，必须进一步增强我们的“软实力”。而搞好应用翻译不失为增强“软实力”、让世界了解中国，助推实现中华民族伟大复兴“中国梦”的一个重要手段。因此，应进一步加强应用翻译的研究。为此，本文就应用翻译的发展现状、问题进行了研究，并分析了应用翻译与增强国家软实力建设之间的关系。  

Constructing the New Normal of the Pragmatic Translation Theory in the View of National Soft Power

Owing to the reform and opening up policy, the living standard of Chinese people has largely improved in the past thirty years. Today's China plays a more and more important role in the international affairs. But the increase of the "soft power" doesn't share with the development of the "hard power", and the lag of the "soft power" restricts the development of Chinese culture. To strengthen the country through culture and practice of "the strategy of going out", we need to introduce Chinese culture and value to foreign countries, while pragmatic translation can be one of the best choices. Through this way, we can strengthen the construction of the national "soft power" and let the world understand China with the goal of achieving the great "China Dream" of rejuvenating the whole Chinese nation. Based on this point, the paper has discussed the development situation and problem of pragmatic translation as well as the relationship between the "soft power" and the pragmatic translation.
