| 摘 要： | 缩略语在英汉词汇系统中均占有重要的地位。文章在词汇化理论观照下，扫描和聚焦英汉缩合法缩略语的语义嬗变。使用缩合法的汉语缩略语的词汇化多产生新的语素义，而同等手段下的英语缩略语词汇化多产生新的语素。

| Abstract: | Abbreviations, which are widely studied by researchers, play an important role in English and Chinese lexical system. We attempt to base our research upon the theory of lexicalization and make a general survey and contrast of the change of meaning of English and Chinese contraction abbreviations. We propose that there are many morphemes with new meaning by contraction lexicalization in Chinese while in English there are many new morphemes. |
