英语歧义现象与英语交际教学

摘    要:歧义是较为常见的复杂的语言现象,它是指一个语言项目具有两个或多于两个含义的现象,其类型可分为语音歧义、词汇歧义和句法歧义等。歧义所导致的语言层面和语义内涵的差异令学习者困惑,因而在交际活动中构成理解障碍,从语音、词汇和句法三方面了解歧义的起因和构成,并把英语歧义理论研究与英语实际教学相结合,总结出有效的排除歧义的方法,有助于学习者扫除语言交际中的障碍,正确理解言语交际的目的。

Abstract:Ambiguity is common and complex in language expression,which means that a language item has two or more possible meanings in phonetic,lexical and syntactic representations.The difference resulting from ambiguity between the appearance and connotation may confuse learners and contribute to understanding obstacles in communication.By figuring out the causes and structures in phonetic,lexical,and syntactic ambiguities,combining the theories with actual teaching and summarizing some effective ways to eliminate ambiguities,we can help learners to remove the obstacles and accurately comprehend communicative purposes.
