| 摘 要： | 回顾与反思了海南的发展战略,探索了海南长期贫困落后的重要原因,论证了海南发展要采用可持续发展战略与模式,阐述了生态省可持续发展的内涵,分析了海南建设生态省、实现可持续发展的条件与优势,得出了生态省是海南可持续发展的战略选择的结论。

| Abstract: | The paper starts with a critical review of the former development strategies for Hainan province, probes into the major causes for the long-standing poverty and underdevelopment in the province, and argues that the strategy as well as the model of sustainable development is to the best interests of Hainan province. It then elaborates on the implications of sustainable development for an eco-province, analyzes the available resources and advantages for developing Hainan province into an eco-province and fulfilling sustainable development. Finally, it concludes that to build an eco-province is the best strategic choice for sustainable development of Hainan Province. |
