清人七十一与《西域闻见录》

七十一，姓尼玛查，号椿园，满洲正蓝旗人。乾隆年问，先任职武陟县，后赴西域，在库车时撰写《西域闻见录》，死于乾隆五十年（1785年）前后。所著《西域闻见录》流传广，影响大，后人据此书编辑、摘录成书者甚多，以致版本亦多，约有20余种，其中有七十一自纂本，也有他人编纂或节选编纂另立书名，还有坊间刊刻另易书名的。各版本中以乾隆刻本为最优。该书是一部内容翔实、叙述生动，不受官修志书刻板程式束缚的私家历史著作，是研究中亚史、边疆史和民族史不可多得的一部重要史料。

On Qishiyi of the Qing Dynasty and His Notes in the Western Regions

Qishiyi whose family name is Nimacha is also known as Chunyuan. He first held a post in Wuzhi county and was then transferred to Western Regions. He composed Notes in the Western Regions when he was in Kuche. The book is widespread and has great influence. It is characterized by rich content and vivid narration which are not restricted by the stereotype of official model. Therefore it is an important historical data for the research on the history of Central Asia , the history of frontier and ethnic minorities.
