| 摘 要： | 美国著名文学评论家欧文.白壁得于1908年撰写的《文学与美国的大学》一书,在近一个世纪后读来,就像是为今天的高校现状而写,令人惊叹历史的契合。在今天这个量化的时代,必须造就有质的人。量化必须为质服务。文章旨在取其精华,引为借鉴,以促进人们对中国高校目前状况的反思与探讨。

| Abstract: | Irving Babbit,the famous American literature critic,published his Literature and the American College in 1908.But it seems that the book was written about current situation of universities in China today and it is fascinating to find that historic correspondence is close to each other.Today,in a quantification age,we should contribute to foster person of quality.Quantification has to serve for quality.The paper aims at selecting the essence of the book for reference so as to promote reflection and research upon the current situation in the institutions of higher learning in China. |
