西方反智主义的媒介传播及中国警示——基于西方媒体对新冠疫情报道的省察

根植于西方宗教土壤的反智思潮已有数百年历史，当今已然成为西方传统与文化痼疾之一。它若隐若现、此消彼长，同时也受到现实政治投机与民粹主义泛滥的裹挟与拖拽，蕴藏着强烈的投机性和目的性。此次新冠疫情期间，西方媒体中大量反智报道，不仅有忤西方媒体自身喻为行动圭臬的新闻“客观性”，降低了受众的认知水平，而且还动摇了政府的执政权威和国家治理信誉，加剧了社会阶层的分化与对立。从马克思主义新闻观出发，以新冠疫情期间西方反智报道为研究对象，对西方反智媒介言行及危害进行解读，以期为我国公共卫生报道与健康传播提供可规避之途、可依赖之路。

Anti-intellectualism Media Communication in the West and Warnings in China: Based on a Review of Western Media Coverage of COVID-19

Rooted in the soil of western religion, the anti-intellectual trend of thought has a history of hundreds of years, and now it has become one of the chronic diseases of Western tradition and culture. At the same time, it is also coerced and dragged by the proliferation of realistic political speculation and populism, which contains strong speculation and purpose. During the period of COVID-19, a lot of anti-intelligence reports in the western media not only disagreed with the news objectivity of the western media themselves, but reduced the cognitive level of the audience, but also shook the authority of the government and the credibility of state governance, and intensified the polarization and opposition of the social hierarchy. From Marxist perspective of journalism, this paper takes Western anti-intellectual reports during the COVID-19 outbreak as the research object, and discusses the anti-intellectual words and deeds of western media and its damages in order to provide a reliable way for public health reporting and health communication in China.
