Human Civilization and Animal Protection--the Relation Between Human and Animal in China History

This thesis discusses the relations between human and animals In China history and views on the relation between human and nature in respect of Chinese culture. In Chinese traditional culture, there is a viewpoint that humankind is"the heart of the universe","soul of everything in the world", and humankind bears the duty of"assisting heaven and earth in turning everything".Chinese culture advocates loving all people and animals and coexistence harmoniously between human beings and nature.Under the guidence of these views, there used to be a peaceful coexistence between men and animals.Therefore there is still some point in the views concerning how to deal with the relations between men and animals.
