《魏书》中关于柔然的记载,以负面居多,柔然首领曾为北魏奴隶以及与柔然战争中不败的魏军神话则是其中代表.从《魏书》中所记载的柔然族源问题和魏军不败两个方面入手,比较对照同时期南朝史书及后世的《资治通鉴》,通过详细分析,指出了《魏书》中有关柔然形象记载的不准确性,这对正确解读《魏书》,恢复柔然的真实形象,有一定的参考价值.

A Brief Analysis of the Image of Rouran Khaganate in Book of Wei

In Book of Wei, most of the records about Rouran Khaganate are negative, among which the chief of Rouran Khaganate slaved by the Emperor of Northern Wei and the unbeatable army of Northern Wei fighting the battles with Rouran Khaganate are representative. From the origin of Rouran Khaganate and the unbeatable army of Northern Wei recorded in Book of Wei, this paper points out that the record of the image of Rouran Khaganate is not correct by comaring it with the contemporary history books and Tzu-chih Tung-chien. The finding of this paper has some referential value for properly interpreting Book of Wei and uncovering the real image of Rouran Khaganate.
