时态不仅是语法范畴的研究范围，而且也是语用学中指示用法的一种表现，在没有具体时阎标记的情况下，时态的选用实际上是反映了说话人对该时间事件的心理距离。现在时拉近说话者对动词表示事件的心理距离，过去时则扩大这种距离。

Approach to Temporal Deixis of Tense from Cognitive Referent Point

This paper attempts to explain the time referent point of tense and the deictic use of tense from the perspectives of temporal deixis and cognitive referent point. The author＇s conclusion is that tense is not only grammatical category of language but also a pragmatic category. The actual use of tense without a explicit temporal adverbs is also a sign of the language user＇s psychological distance towards the event.
