| 摘 要： | 20世纪以来,英语词汇发生了许多新的变化。从产生这些变化的原因、新词的构成方式以及词汇新发展的特点等方面对现代英语词汇的发展作一个梳理,可以更好地理解其发展的源流和脉络。

| Abstract: | From the 20th century on,great changes have been taking place in English vocabulary.The paper aims at illustrating the development of modern English vocabulary by the analysis of the causes of changes,word-formation approaches of new words and characteristics of latest vocabulary development.It would be helpful in mastering the streams and outline of English vocabulary development. |
