| Abstract: | Under the new historical situation, Comrade Jiang Zeming puts forward a set of important expositions about the development of our country's science and technology which enrich and develop Deng Xiaoping's scientific and technological thought. The major elements which make up Jiang Zeming's scientific and technological thought are referred to as patriotism, seeking fact & innovation, endeavor & contribution, unity & cooperation and the spirit of freedom & democracy. His thought offers great significance for us to reconsider the value of science and technology, the status of intellectuals and the necessity of quality-based education. |
