文化融合视角中的古诗英译

在当前全球化进程加快和不同文化间出现融合趋势的背景下,译者应以介绍源语文化为目的,以忠实为原则,有效地传播源语文化,维护文化多样性。本文通过对两首中国古诗英译例子的对比分析,探讨了如何在古诗英译中保存和有效地传达源语的文化信息。在古诗翻译中,译者多采用同化或异化策略。本文认为,异化策略能更有效地传达源语的文化信息,传播源语的文化,同化策略则可以作为补充。

Ancient Chinese Poetry Translation in Cultural Integration

With an unprecedented quick speed of globalization and cultural integration, following the principle of faithfulness, translators should maintain diversification ＆ muhicuhuralism - oriented ethnical cultures in their translation in order to reproduce the source language culture. Through a comparative study of cultural information translation of two ancient Chinese poems, the present article attempts to discuss how to maintain and effectively convey the cultural information in English translation of ancient Chinese poetry. In ancient Chinese poetry, translation, translators usually adopt the strategy, of adaptation or alienation. However, the author concludes that the strategy of alienation works better for effectively conveying the cultural information in source language and preserving the source language cultural peculiarity.
