| 摘 要： | 教育是超越社会还是适应社会，关键是看教育能不能成为主动地改造外部社会的力量。在这个问题上，历史中的教育家有不同的理论选择，柏拉图认为教育应该成为改造社会的力量，而亚里士多德认为教育应该为维持社会的现状服务，在实践中，教育是适应社会，还是超越社会，经常是社会权力选择的结果。

| Abstract: | Whether education can be a force of transformation or not is mainly responsible for its tendency to transcend or to adapt for the society. As for this matter, historical educationalists made different choices. Plato considered education a force to reform, while Aristotle regarded it as a service to maintain the status quo, both with a great many followers. In practice, education, to transcend or to adapt for the society, is often the result of choice from social authorities |
